Excellent views from the room and the elevator, a great room, a comfy bed, a superb bathroom with a separate restroom and bidet, and a spacious room —overall, a good value for money. The location is pretty good, though not excellent; a little bit far from the main Waikiki beach, so a pretty long (but pleasant) walk to that area, but close to Ala Moana park and mall (for those interested) and to the beautiful promenade on Kahanamoku Beach.

Beautiful hotel, excellent on site restaurant. Don't go to Waikiki Beach, a short walk in the other direction will take you to Ala Moana Beach which is way less busy! The pool itself is beautiful, but the pool deck and loungers are a bit grubby looking and the washrooms are pathetically outdated. Also, not a single umbrella provided for shade and you need them - the sun beats down from the building's reflection all afternoon. I think they are trying to get you to rent a cabana for shade, but they also are pretty grubby looking. However, the pool restaurant is great and the cocktails are excellent. We definitely will stay here again. Just hope they improve the pool area a bit!
