Being a Hawai’i resident upon checking in to hotel and using my Expedia rewards account no Kamaaina discount was applicable towards the self parking or resort fee. I can see if I was from out of state upon check in to hotel and guest services saw my Hawaii identification also. Not sure if I’m booking another stay in the future.

Had a great stay at the Prince Waikīkī. It was extremely conveniently located as to avoid any traffic in the morning if we were going north, south or west for our days adventures. The room was very clean and the view from the windows was amazing. Beautiful sunsets every night.

Our entire stay was perfect in the most breathtakingly beautiful place. The Prnce Waikiki staff we so friendly, helpful, and gracious. Central location, uber was fast easy to use ( rides $5-10), airport $22), did not miss renting a car. Greatly enjoyed the club lounge, pool, view of sailboats, beach, and magic island., very convenient traveling with kids. We saw the Friday night Fireworks from our room (3302). We had an amazing experience with private tour- pachamama adventures, Marco was excellent and did a surfing lesson with my son. Loved Pink sail snorkeling and Oahu Catamaran sunset cruise. Not enough stars in the sky, highly recommend Prince Waikiki!!!

Selected based on a friend’s recommendation. For a birthday vacation, chose stay with Club Room. Club provides access to snacks and light fare, but if have dietary restrictions, make sure to inform the Club team. Otherwise options may be limited. For breakfast, Club has breakfast option at 100 Sails which has way more options. The 100 Sails team provided excellent service. Club level rooms are comfortable and have nice views of harbor and ocean. The Club room is staffed by friendly team, but they can get busy when room full. Sometimes the poolside music can get a bit loud. Housekeeping friendly. Location is very convenient & walkable and is on quieter area of Waikīkī. Resort fees include free entrances to a few great sites such Iolani and HoMA. Though was a nice stay, didn’t feel extra special as had splurged for higher level room for week stay for bday. But Prince is an upscale hotel with good-great service and convenient location.
