Great location, walking distance to the beach and some historic spots, Circle K next to hotel and good restaurants close by. Hotel Room was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom and toilet bowl was clean but has stains and cracks so it needs to be updated. Hotel Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent. Overall it was a good and comfortable stay.

Desk staff was nice and helpful. Made sure we got fresh towels daily which had to be requested. Breakfast was ok. The lady in charge of breakfast did not seem to have the best attitude. The hotel is conveniently located right by the beach and a couple restaurants. Room was clean.

We enjoyed it a lot. The location was fantastic, about a block from the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I only wish they cleaned the rooms without asking. That was really the only complain.

This is my second year staying at this hotel. Another wonderful stay. This place is clean & the staff are attentive. It is right across a parking lot from the beach, literally a 1-2min walk. There is also a restaurant in the same parking lot area and a circle K next door where you can get anything you may need. It is very convenient. We always stay in the room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. It’s very nice. The beds are comfortable. There is also a nice pool outside.

Kayla was my first point of contact when we checked in. She was super friendly, kind and answered all the questions I had at check in. The rooms were clean and spacious and every staff member I encountered was nice and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast in the morning was very good. Especially the coffee! We had an absolutely wonderful trip. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

I really had no problem with the hotel itself.. The staff was very nice. What I didn’t like at all was being charged $12 per night for the 4 night stay. I told the lady that checked me in that it was supposed to be $12 per stay. I pulled it up on the hotels.com website to show her. She told me to check with the supervisor the next day which I did. She did refund $36. If you book on Choice hotels which is the website for Surf and Sand it does say $12 per night. I really do not understand that or why there is even a parking fee there at all.
