The only complaint we have are the pillows, they are so flat not even folding them in half made them comfortable for sleeping, the daily breakfast was great lots of choices and the Wednesday happy hour was a nice surprise, free wine, beer, soup and salad plus cheese, veggies, fruit and dessert, plus all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, i highly recommend this hotel

Clean and Friendly

From the booking to departure we had a good experience. Came for college tour at UNF with daughters. We warmly were greeted at arrival and received a follow up text after about an hour from front desk (Issha) ensuring we didn’t need anything. Room smelled clean upon opening door to our suite. I actually own a cleaning company and admit I’m very picky but this met all expectations. Breakfast following next morning was filling and tasted great especially for continental breakfast.

The staff are good. Sadly it feels Hilton are relying on the location rather than the quality for bookings. Room was so tired. Curtains torn. Shower pressure poor. Rusty dishwasher. With upgrade work this would be a great hotel. Next time I’ll pay more and stay at the AC or Hyatt.

Perfect location.... but hotel needs to be updated. Rooom was very comfortable but i wish it was cleaner. Toilet and shower were not clean. There was even hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. You can tell they did not sweep because someone makeup brush was on the floor left behind.

The fold out couch was broken in our room. It was definitely inconvenient. Luckily we had an air mattress in our car. On the last morning we were there, the hallway on our floor smelled absolutely terrible. It smelled like a toilet overflowed or rotten eggs. It was getting in to the room by the time we were leaving. I mentioned both of these things to the front desk clerk. She said the smell was from the carpets and the bad weather. But there was no bad weather and the smell was brand new as of today. The breakfast was good. And so was the coffee. Unfortunately the bad out weighed the good.

We usually stay here when we visit from Savannah, but this was the second time we had a bad experience. This time, the noise in the room above us sounded like they were training horses. Constant jumping up and down was extremely loud. We called on the second night, but the noise continued. Then my wife went to the front desk and they gave us a room on the top floor. We go there to relax for a couple days, and it was anything but relaxing. After packing up and moving all our stuff, we finally had a relaxing evening. There must be some way for the management to control noisy hotel guests.

The location is great right in St John's Town Center. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was reasonably priced compared to hotels in the vicinity. This is my new go to hotel when I'm in Jacksonville.

Hotel was not up to Hilton Quality. As a diamond member I travel a lot with Hilton, and this hotel is in a great location, but in need of a facelift. Beds and pillows were worn, and the whole place had a damp smell that was being covered with cleaning solution. While the lobby was nice and clean, the rooms themselves were moderately cleaned it appeared. I'd choose another hilton property in the area in the future.
