Understand that Reno’s take place, but to have debris like screws and ends of hoses cut off along the parking lot to where you drive over them is not great. There was furniture taken out of rooms and scattered along the walkways to where you had to walk through parking lot as you couldn’t walk path. The bathroom had dead bugs in the tub, room recently painted to wear they didn’t even bother to clean up the excess paint splatters on the carpet, linoleum floor, mirrors and even on the toilet seat. There was leftover food in a container on the deck under a chair. Overall, not impressed and won’t go back.

The room we were put in was a suite and you can tell the room was quickly put together. The bedroom was so small and cramped, it was hard to move around. The shower curtain barely reached the top of the tub so there was a gap when showering so water got out. There wasn’t any large bath towels so we had to call front desk. The property had furniture in the hallways and by the stairs so it must be renovating lots of rooms. Service is always warm and accommodating.

Do not stay here!

One of the worst experiences staying at a hotel. We arrived Friday around 6 and they were renovating the rooms underneath us. There was construction material everywhere that we had to step over to get to the stairs to our room. We were told they would be stopping shortly, we went out for dinner and came back around 9 and they were still working and using table saws outside of our room. They were still working at 11pm, we could hear them. Poorly ran and they didn’t apologize or try to remedy the situation.

I've stayed there before and was quite satisfied by this time was different. I understand renos but why was there hammering at 10:30 pm one night and then at 12:30 am the next night - so bad. Also I expected to have a microwave like other times, asked three times for one and was told there wasn't one available. That's not good service. If I had a repeat client, I would have gone and bought one for $100 and made sure she had one...especially someone who stays for four days.

Nicely renovated

The rooms are nicely renovated. Good hot tub and swimming pool. The included breakfast was reasonable also. I would stay again

This property is in the midst of a major major renovation with noisy construction going on until after 8 PM. The parking lot is full of cabinets, mattresses, and lots of other renovation materials. So you can sit on the river view deck shown on the website to escape the noise but it doesn’t show the very busy car bridge only 150 yards away. The eggs and sausages for breakfast was a very good idea but somebody needs to keep the chafing dish warm enough so that the food isn’t lukewarm. I also didn’t enjoy having to plug in the hairdryer, the coffee machine, and the alarm clock in my room. Restocking the coffee machine for my 2nd day would also have been nice. And finally, not having to return to the front desk at 7:30 in the morning after breakfast because my room key didn’t work any more would have helped to lessen my frustration with this property for so many glaring errors. I’m sure there are lots of other properties in Kamloops where you could leave happy.
