Don't show up early

I come to Laughlin every year and I usually stay here. After riding 5 hours I arrived 25 mins early and was told I had to pay an early check in fee. She stated my room was ready but I would have to pay extra if I couldn't wait 25 mins. Make it make sense. Won't be staying here again.
