Room was good. Very limited tv viewing available. Had problems with elevator. It was reported to front desk, and were informed we didn't know how to properly push an elevator button. Really??? How inappropriate!! Yet other staff was very friendly, helpful and a delight to communicate with. Special kudos to the breakfast ladies..

A Really Good Experience

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay of two nights. We have found that we never go wrong with Hampton Inn & Suites. This location was close to fulfilling that potential; the only (minor) issues were a loose grab bar in the shower and the toilet handle was a little loose. My wife felt the floors were not quite as good as we expected, but I thought they were fine. The location did look a little run down in the elevators. But, the staff and service was beyond exceptional, especially the two ladies who did the breakfast each morning. If the waitstaff in America were only partly as good as they were, we'd have a better country. I'm serious; I have never encountered a more helpful or friendler breakfast staff in all of our travel experieinces. And, the breakfast itself was really good. Overall, I'm ready to go back the next time we are in Laurel.

We loved Renee at the front desk. She was easy to talk to, gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast was also very good and the common places were really clean.
