Excellent hotel for everyone, but especially if you are traveling with fur-babies, very pet friendly facility with plenty of walk areas and all ground levels rooms, fees for pets are modest and very fair, would stay again for sure.

What a Lovely Place!

Check-in was quick, and the Front Desk pointed out cookies and coffee, which are available in the Lobby 24/7. This is a motel, with doors into the rooms from the outside. Usually I book hotels, as I find motels noisy, but this was very quiet. The room was nicely appointed and comfortable. There is a traditional feel to the room and the entire motel. We found a nearby Thai restaurant (Thai House) for dinner, which we highly recommend. The next morning we walked through the outdoor pool area, which was one of the nicest I have ever seen. It appeared to have a lift for handicapped persons to access the pool; I have never seen that at a hotel before. The included breakfast was very good, and the attendant was on-site throughout, keeping things tidy, refilling food trays and assisting patrons. At checkout I asked about a receipt, and the Front Desk correctly stated that since I had paid through Hotels.com, that is from whom I would get the receipt. I certainly hope we return to Santee at some time in the future, and if so, we will hope to stay here!

Very clean, thank you! Beds super comfortable. They had a no pet specific building which was fantastic and what we wanted. Shower head small leak but I’m sure just needed an adjustment. Hot water great. Breakfast just what you need and hot, clean area. I recommend putting policy in place for no pets allowed in breakfast area as I guess common courtesy alludes some guests. :(
