The place was nice, the staff was very helpful. The linen is on its last leg. They need to buy some new towels and washcloths. You get what you pay for, but all in all, it was a good place to stay.

This Super 8 was clean and well-appointed. It was reasonably quiet. When I booked in March, 2025 I asked for a first floor non-smoking room adjacent to the parking lot. I got all three requests, which pleased me. I recommend this inn.

The exterior of the property/parking lot looked deserted when I arrived and I wasn't even sure it was an operating establishment. The office was not highlighted to direct one in as to where to go. The room, though old and decorated in dark colors, was clean and equipped with refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable and I had a nice quiet sleep. Just what I needed after driving all day!

This is an old building, but the beds and rooms were clean and the shower water was great. I had an extra traveler cancel his trip the day after I booked, but this owner would not issue a refund. Unlike the other Super 8 motel I booked at the same time, the Ashland property does not offer cancellations up to a day or two in advance. READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE BOOKING, don't just skim over it as I did.

I’ve stayed here a number of times in the past, but I don’t remember it being this junky. The Wi-Fi made 1980’s dialup connection speed seem fast. What’s more, a complaint to hotel staff was met with something akin to, “yeah, whatever…” followed by some lame excuse. I won’t be back.

Hotel needs a reno and cleaning

Very outdated and stained furniture and carpets. Bed was very soft but at least no bugs. Front desk staff were friendly.
