Upon arrival I walked into a construction zone. The hotel had decided to do Renovations and they had the lobby looking like a hot mess. I was really surprised that they were working until 7:00 at night blocking and using the only two elevators. I also was only notified upon arrival that there was no pool. I came down from New York on vacation for my birthday and was highly disappointed. According to the staff because I booked through Expedia I did not receive a courtesy email to let me know about the construction and if I had booked through Hampton Inn or Hilton I would have received an email stating what was going on.

We were in Miami for my stepson's wedding and this hotel was recommended. Although construction was happening at the site, everything was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful with local dining ideas. The breakfast was your average continental. I would definitely stay here again.
