Although the staff was excellent. There's work to be done here. My first room smelled like urine and the other one smelled moldy. I walked to target to get a scented candle. I couldn’t hang my clothes in the closet any there was evidence of mold in the shower. The hotel had the nerve to text me about burning candles. It stinks in there. How dare you. The location is great. Also, they have no elevator so you have to climb stairs.

This is a very charming 100 year old hotel and is part of Coral Gables history. Easy walk to restaurant options and basic shopping. Glad we stayed here. Incredible value compared to the other hotels.

Close to many dining options in Coral Gables. Publix and Target a few blocks away. Free Coral Gables trolley stops close by. Excellent, responsive management. This is an excellent choice for economical stays - clean, small rooms with small refrigerator and microwave. No pool, no business center, no restaurant at this price. Only negative is slow internet in some parts of the hotel.

During check-in, we were informed that the hotel water would be shut off in the morning. The front desk advised us to use the shower and any necessary water tonight. Due to this inconvenience, we chose not to stay and request a full refund.
