Noisy but Convenient

Noisy with exterior access bumped up to parking spots. You can hear loud motors cranking up and keypods beeping their cars when locking their cars. Also noisy guest outside room gathering in groups to socialize. Hotel location made it convenient to be directly across from Thomas Hospital. Continental breakfast offered a variety of breakfast items and beverages.

Cute, clean, safe & affordable

Check-in was fast & courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I felt very safe here. Conveniently located to shops & restaurants. Gaps around 2 sides of doors. Desk chairs worn out and seat adjustment doesn’t hold. This hotel is in the middle of a renovation so I’m sure it will be perfect!

The Key West Inn is very clean, and staff is very friendly. It's not the newest hotel we've ever stayed in, but the bed was comfortable, it was quiet and clean. The continental breakfast was convenient, and we enjoyed our 3-day stay. We would book again and recommend to family.

The staff was really nice, the room was clean, but the water drained slow in tub and sink. The microwave didn’t work and a couple of the outlets didn’t work. You also had to use some real magic to find the sweet spot in order to work the tv remote. Outside there was a dedicated area for stacks of junk and what looked like broken appliances. There was a covered area where they were trying to create a community space, but also do it for a little money as possible with a really cheap gray outdoor rug and some random mix of chairs. Because the walls were thin and we were next to said space you could practically join the conversation from the comfort of your bed. Again the staff was really nice and there may be new ownership, so things may change and I wish them luck, but I probably won’t return.

Great place in Fairhope

The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and maintained. The free breakfast was sufficient with a lot of choices, including hot sausages, eggs, biscuits and bagals. My only complaint is that the entrance the hotel was difficult to find, especially at night.

This was a great motel! Really good breakfast and a nice little outside sitting area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, especially when I goofed up and ended up booking the wrong dates. They told me it wasn't a problem and assisted in providing a phone number to fix it with Expedia. G

The room was clean, with updated flooring and a small kitchen area. The room smelled like sour bleach for a few hours after we arrived. I sprayed a whole travel size can of lysol to try to dissolve the stinch. The bed was nicely made but the sheets and pillowcase were full of black and blonde strands of hair on one side of the bed. The same black color hair was in the towel mat that was folded in the bathroom. The door wasn't properly sealed so alot of light showed through at the bottom and near the lock. The desk attendant was very pleasant and quickly showed up when I called for towels to block the light out, as well as when I called for clean bedsheets and pillowcases. She even offered to remake the bed, had she not been the only one on desk duty. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Would probably stay again if I had to visit the area for an overnight trip.

This is one of those properties that you can't say enough good things about!!!! First you are welcomed by a staff that is friendly, knowledgeable about the area and seems genuinely concerned about YOU! They provide you with bottles of water and a plethora of muffins and snacks and insist that you come back for more whenever you want them. The rooms are "white glove" clean, everything works in the room and you can see that the facility is well kept and cared for. The tree lined streets are a joy to stroll on and their are numerous and varied dining and shopping options. The in house breakfast is varied in choices and consistently good. When you check out the staff insist that you take water or snacks too! These owners CARE! This will be my place to stay anytime I'm in the area! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
