The overall experience was fair. There were a few issues that could be addressed but nonetheless it was a good experience. The room did not have an ironing board or iron, the water temperature would stay lukewarm and would not heat up. The cleaning staff was yelling and being overly loud in the morning while cleaning. This disrupted our sleep and we were unable to fall back to sleep. We checked in about 45 minutes earlier than the usual time. So rightfully our room wasn’t ready and we were okay with it considering we were early. We were told that we would receive a text notification when the room was ready. After approximately 2 hours of waiting around we decided to check on the status of the room. The receptionist told us our room was ready and had been ready but the service in their hotel is not the greatest and they couldn’t notify us properly. Which I felt they could have tried calling us if they couldn’t notify us via text.

The room condition was good. The phone lines where down, the housekeeping was not daily only went you called and asked. The pool bars were all closed and there were really not any attendants serving drinks in the casino.

The room was in great condition. The lighting in the room and bathroom was not adequate for putting on make up but otherwise fine. The 3 stars are primarily because there was a bright flashing light on the ceiling in the room that made it hard to sleep. No extra blankets in the room, only a very light sheet like blanket on the bed.

Incompetent check in staff. Room was ok to nice, unfortunately, they did not refill the shampoo and conditioner, which is didn't realize until I was already in the shower. Also the pillows on the bed are a hard as rocks, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. I works expect that at a Motel 6, but not at a hotel charging the prices that they are charging.
