This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Even though it had been there 10 years, it looked new and fresh. Very clean and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious with extra seating. The shower was huge. The area around the hotel is nice as well as there is a patio with a seating area and a fire pit. Complimentary cookies, coffee, tea and milk for my son. We were very impressed by The Garland Hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Almost in the dark

The front desk service was fast and easy. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom was clean with a really nice shower. The bed was really comfortable. The only issue was half the lights didn’t work. We were tired and didn’t call to complain,as we were there to shower,sleep,and leave early. Didn’t really need the lights anyway. The breakfast was also really good. I will definitely stay again when im back in the area.

The only thing that I wish was different, was my booking credit card was billed as soon as I walked through the door. I asked during check in to pay with a different card and was told “too late I already charged your secured card”. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised by this property and would book it again

The property is near a highway, and our room was on the highway side of the building. We heard a fair amount of trucks engine breaking throughout the night. I assume the noise would have been significantly less if we were on the opposite side of the building.

Pros: modern decor. Convenient location. A lot of space in our 1 bed room 2 queen bed. Fair price for the quality of the hotel. Rooms were clean. Cons: towels were small and worn out /torn. Shower head was located too high on the wall and could not adjust the direction of the water spray. Hall way floors are stained. Breakfast was poor. Premade Scrambled eggs and pancakes were overcooked. Overall would give 3.5.
