Booked my stay through Hotels.com; got a call a few days before that the room was no longer available. They did accommodate me after I asked how Wyndham was going to compensate me for lost money and for not being able to participate in the race that brought me to the area. The room was not clean. There were toothpaste splashes on the bathroom mirror, and the desk/nightstand/tv surfaces had fingerprints all over. There was mildew on the ceiling in the lobby, as well.

Fast service. Needed another pillow and blanket, front desk clerk brought it right away. Breakfast was so good! Plenty of decisions on what to eat and drink. No complaints period!!

If you expect a greeting at this hotel, don't. If you expect to check in even 60 seconds in advance, don't. Expect to mill around the entrance with other guests until they decide it's precisely 3.

Very comfortable room, bed and pillows are soft. Air conditioning very cold which is a reprieve from the heat of the day. Recommendation would be to have a blanket available in the closet since the bedding is just a flat sheet and very light coverlet. We tried asking for the blanket but it appeared that only one person was on duty working the hotel and she appeared very busy. Other than that it was a comfortable stay.

This place was horrible. Our door was unlocked when we got there which was very scary. My husband had to clear the room before we could go in. The AC was stuck on freezing and leaking water all over the floor. There was no refrigerator. There was no television remote. There were no blankets. The breakfast was horrible. I've never stayed at a place this bad. I would like to know how to request a refund. We contacted the on-site property managers at the time with all of our problems and they refused to do anything

I had two rooms one room there was food left in it from the maid service and food in the refrigerator. My second room was nasty smelled like mold and mildew, and there was bugs. The room was not cleaned. Will never stay there again. Don’t recommend this for anyone my party of the second room left and went home because I could not stand to stay in the nasty room

Seriously…Do better!

The front desk staff was very friendly, but the housekeeping staff could do better. The room was obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a visible layer of dust over every surface, including bathroom shelves and counters. The carpet stained our socks black and the little amount of tile in the room was sticky.

The room was small but nice. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very filling. The toilet would continue to run and the shower fixtures seemed dated. There were only two towels and one tiny bar of soap for both the sink and the shower. And there was no waste basket. Overall it was a good stay.

Awful stay

We booked a week in advance; king bed room NS; upon arrival to the hotel to check in We were told by a rude clerk that we had to settle for 2 queen beds because they overbooked & others arrived before us so they gave our reserved room away. Once in the room there was only a tiny bit of toilet paper on the roll, one tissue in the tissue box & 2 towels so I had to go down to the lobby to get more. Once I returned to the room I proceeded to the shower were I discovered the shower curtain was moldy & dirty. The water saver was so bad on the shower head it took 35 minutes just to shower. About 12 midnight there was loud music playing to the point we were unable to sleep until after 3am. I would not recommend this Wyndham Gardens New Roads and will hesitate to book at a Wyndham Garden again. Obviously they have done there own reviews.
