What a fantastic place to stay in midtown. The rooms were clean and functional, perfect for a city break. If you want more frequent cleaning or fresh towels, you just have to tap on a button on the iPad that controls everything in the room, including the TV, blinds and lights. The hotel is located perfectly just north of Times Square. A short walk to all the theatres and just as convenient to get to Columbus Circle and Central Park. This was my first time at a CitizenM hotel and I will be definitely be staying again.

CitizenM Times Square is my home away from home. It’s walking distance to Broadway and many other tourist attractions. Breakfast is outstanding and they make great drinks! Love the staff! At the front desk and the two bars. The ladies downstairs were extremely personable and helpful.

Location alone was worth it

The location, common areas, and service were great, but the room itself was really lacking. We had the King bed room. We had two people and always felt cramped. We did not spend much time in our room luckily, but when we did it was a pain to get around. The bed was comfy and all that, but bathroom was a bit awkward, toilet was a bit too small, and sink was awkward to use. They really advertised fluffy towels, but not sure were those were cause it was the same paper thin towel(falling apart almost) that you'd find at any other hotel. The "smart" part of the hotel was nice, being able to control the blinds, lights, fan, TV, and all was very convenient, but we did run into some trouble with the TV. We were trying to put a random channel on but for some reason tit stopped working on any channel. It eventually worked after restarting the TV through the chrome cast instructions. Overall good, location is amazing.

Room was clean, small but useable gor a few days if you are close with person travelling. Hotel smells lovely - amenities in room were good - staff friendly when approached. Good location by Times Square and Subway. Breakfast add on good option for ease and would pay a lot more to dine out when adding tip etc

The hotel was excellent—clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable with great amenities. A hotel you want to spend time in.

citizenM is an amazing hotel, probably my favorite in Manhattan (I've stayed at the one in Times Square and the one in the Bowery). The rooms have everything I need, they're comfortable, clean, and stylish. The lobby is attractive -- such a great vibe. And the staff are friendly, outgoing, and supportive. I'd choose to stay here for every trip to the city. The citizenM in Times Square is perfectly located for theatre I saw three plays and could walk to each of them in 10 minutes or less. It's near multiple subway lines, so it was also just 15 minutes to Penn Station, 20 minutes to Union Square Park, 25 minutes to NYU -- super convenient.

We loved this hotel! Very convenient central location, very close to subways, times square, broadway and rockefeller/5th ave. The room is pretty small (only for 2 people) but its just the right size if you’re not planning on spending the whole trip in the hotel room! It was high tech, clean, and had a big beautiful window. It was very quiet as well, no loud city noises that we could hear. The lobby had great amenities, staff was friendly and we really loved the 24 hour access to filtered water and a microwave. We would definitely stay again!
