Fantastic staff and comfy rooms

The staff here were so kind and helpful, I had an unusual situation where a medical emergency extended a work trip and they easily helped with luggage and making sure I was comfortable. The rooms are comfy and well appointed and the beds in particular were great. Breakfast is robust too and the location is very central.

I thought the hotel was just perfect. The rooms were nice and cozy. The staff was very nice. There were a lot of options to eat within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again. My only very small complaint is that it was a long wait to get a room especially after a long day of travel. Other than that I do recommend this place. For me this was the perfect location especially since this was my first time to New York. Thanks for a great stay. New York was great.

Location was good, bed comfortable, room was clean enough. Tons of guests milling about in lobby on arrival - "weekly staff meeting" so no keys till 4 pm - don't arrive on a Thursday!! Elevators require lots of patience as often full. "Free snacks" were meh. We skipped "free breakfast" figuring same would be true so no comment. Major complaint was cold shower 1st morning. For over $300/night, I expect hot water on demand. I'm funny that way :-)

I accidentally left my shoulder bag in the room on Monday, Sept8. When my wife and I returned on Friday, Sept13, housekeeping had the bag—but the Bose headphones inside were missing. While I take responsibility for leaving the bag behind, my trust in the hotel has unfortunately been broken. Despite leaving a generous tip for our three-day visit, someone decided the headphones were worth taking, at the cost of losing a returning guest. That said, I do want to recognize Keanna at the front desk. She went above and beyond—searching for the bag twice in housekeeping until it was finally located, and clearly explaining the situation. Her professionalism stood out in contrast to the disappointing experience with the missing item.
