Suited us perfectly

Great location, right in the centre of the city, with good access to the subway and everything around. It was one of the few hotels we looked at which offered a proper breakfast included in the price, which was very nice. The room was a decent size with everything you needed. Bed was a bit hard, but a good view. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, so for New York mini-break it suited us perfectly.

Safe area and close to subway. Continental breakfast is very basic and the quality is average. Ice machine was broken. The ladies at the front desk are professional and extremely friendly. The rooms could use an update. Overall it's a decent play to stay for the price but there's plenty of nicer hotels in the area.

On the plus side, the location is awesome. The AC worked great. Housekeeping keeps things clean. On the down side, the bath fan was broken, faucet leaked a steady stream, drain assembly was broken, something was broken off the wall, and the clothes dryer was barely functioning. We had to run one load three times and still hang up a bunch of items around the room as best we could. Refilling the water/coffee station was inconsistent. The beds were hard. It was tolerable as a crash pad for our four nights and really hard to beat the location, never far from whatever subway we needed, but won't return.

Decent value for the price. Excellent location.

Excellent service and reception-extremely attentive and caring. Decent room size for NYC. A little run down in the rooms (missing knob on a/c; clearly changed out fixtures but didn’t cover up old holes), although they were working on some things.
