Staff were rude and the first room we were given was big infested. Rather that immediately move us out, they tried to just kill the bugs, which did not work. Staff are also very snarky and uncaring about customer concerns

I’ve stayed twice Pros: close to trains and theaters, staff are very nice albeit nobody will be helping you with your bags lol CONS: I stayed 2 separate times in one month - Both times there were elevator issues throughout the entire stay, the worst was climbing 15 flights of stairs to my floor after waiting over 45 min in the lobby because every single elevator was broken…after a 13 hour shift. I’ve actually never seen all 3 elevators working at the same time in either stay. The room lights flicker, the TVs freeze periodically (both stays, different rooms), the water temperature gets extremely hot then extremely cold and the pressure varies from a trickle to a fire hose blasting. Coffee was not available in the lobby at 6am like advertised….I had to ask twice for a coffee maker to be brought to my room. There are 2 smoke shops/dispensaries directly across the street which attract a decent amount of noise all night. I left for the airport extra early the morning of my departure because sitting in LGA was preferred over this hotel and this location.

Stayed her a few nights and it was excellent. The whole staff was very nice, helpful, and fun. The rooms were clean. The bed was heaven. They have a great restaurant and bar at the top. Location was fabulous! I would stay here again!

Mediocre experience

Our stay was pretty mediocre. The room was good but we got the deluxe so that should be expected. The water fountain on every floor was also a good touch. However, the service was very lacking. On a 3 day stay, our tv got checked out every morning starting the first morning there. The wifi was incredibly slow and re-downloading all of the applications every day took hours. The streaming from device doesnt work either, leaving 10 basic channels for the live tv. We voiced our concerns with the staff several times but was met with no help and condescending replies. A guy came in to do something about the tv but was no help, and they didnt seem to care until it was time for us to check out. Also very annoying we got a stern knock on our door at 9am on our last day there. Check out is at 12 so being woken up early for someone to clean the room when we haven't even checked out yet was very annoying. So we have to pay a few to check in early but we get pushed to check out early for no reason. We were pretty much on our own for the 3 days with no help from the staff besides checking in and checking out. Will definitely not go back, there's lots of better alternatives near broadway.

Great Hotel

Kimpton hotel is a great place to stay... very close to Times Square, Central Park, etc... Hotel is in close proximity to a variety of restaurants, and the theatres as well. Hotel is nice, comfortable and clean... I would definitely recommend the hotel for a weekend or so stay in New York City.

Third stay at Kimpton - not disappointed. Staff amazing, helpful and welcoming. Beds and rooms well appointed and spacious. Evening drinks on roof top bar. Did not eat at restaurant.
