Not 5 star. Lackluster lobby, zero vibe, unenthusiastic front desk staff. Rooms are dimly lit and sterile. Small is fine but the room space is dysfunctional and poorly designed, ie narrow ledges that everything falls off of and no place to put a bag.

I really like this hotel and would like to come back. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The only downside for me, and it’s a big one, is the street noise. I was on the 12th floor and still got woken up a few times because of he roadworks. Next time, I’d ask for a room that doesn’t overlook 57th street.
