I would have given it 5 stars for everything except a request for housekeeping was made at least twice and no one ever serviced the room. The property is very well maintained and there are great dining options within walking distance. The housekeeping snafu is the only thing that was a issue.

This property is close to many restaurants that are within 5 minutes. There are small, charming towns such as Batavia and Geneva within 15 minutes as well. Chicago downtown is a 45 minute drive if that interests you but for us that wasn’t the reason we were here this time.

Woke up to shower and No Hot Water! Even though the general manager gave me money back off of the cost of my hotel room I’m still disappointed that I did not get to take a nice relaxing hot shower before I travel

When we got to the room we noticed that there were stains on the bath tub, the beds were not very comfortable and we asked the front desk twice for some more shampoo and body soap which were never filled.

this is the best hotel i've ever stayed at. the staff are genuine, kind beyond measure, accommodating. their good intentions are equally present in both words and actions. if you're considering staying here, please don't look any further. you won't regret it!
