Liked that it was modern and eco-friendly. Staff was very helpful. Disliked that breakfast isn't served until 9am, especially since there are so few food options around. The hotel was also very noisy when we were there.

Clean, modern rooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Comfortable climate in rooms due to geothermal. The 1833 restaurant on site is absolutely fantastic.

The stay was dang near perfect. I think it is a huge miss for the hotel bar attached to 1833 not to stay open until 11pm or at least 10:30pm when there is anything on at the theater next door, it would make for a refined more perfect experience after a production.

I actually live in Oberlin. My house is being renovated. I remember the old Oberlin Inn and I have to say it was upgraded to a 5 star luxury hotel.
