Short trip

Good overall. Water pressure in sink was minimum but tub and shower was good. It was just for one night and would recommend for short trips. Location good in relation to eating establishments.

They have a problem with their key entry system. I had to do to the office 4 times during our stay to reprogram the entry cards. One time was 12:45 at night when I couldn’t get back in after walking the dog. Their $20 charges for dogs is great but they need to have bag and poop stations as their lawn is littered with feces.

The manager that checked us in was very nice. The hotel seemed dirty and dated. We were kind of stuck because we had to stop driving and our original hotel did not honor our reservation. The bathroom toilet seat was dirty and the towels were stained and had holes in them. We left as soon as possible I have no idea how this hotel has high ratings.

Passing through Santee

Our room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast, waffles, bread, bagels, bananas and yogurt. The breakfast room was clean, had enough space and was well light. There were many options for dinner closeby, mostly fast food and a few sit down places. Nothing fancy it worked well for our needs

Poor maintenance

There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. We hadto use the tub faucet to get hot water. And the bathroom sink dripped all night. Plus the bed pillows looked like throw pillows instead of full size bed pillows. Nothappy with Bayfront by Windham. Will not stay with that brand again!

Pleasant desk staff on evening shift; indifferent staff on morning shift. Housekeeping staff member eating breakfast while sitting on couch in lobby. No hanging rack in room. I was told I could hang my bag on doorknob. Several items in room needing maintenance.
