Overall, we had a good stay. Maddie was communicative, pleasant, and provided clear access instructions. The house was as described, the space was nice, and the beds were comfortable.Some minor drawbacks: many surfaces were dusty, likely due to the number of decorative items. One of the two Keurig machines was not clean, but the second worked fine so I just avoided the dirty one. Supplies were minimal as expected, though there was only a teaspoon of dish soap supplied, so we purchased our own. Internet and TV worked well, but Wi-Fi was weaker in the pool area, and the only electrical outlet for the entire backyard patio did not work.The biggest disappointment was the pool and hot tub. On our warmest day (daytime high was 75), with the pool covered overnight, the pool only reached 72, and the hot tub topped out around 81 after several hours. The online listing calls it a hot tub, while the in-house materials refer to it as a “spa” and advise not to expect a true hot tub experience, which we wish had been clearer in the listing. Its unfortunately because we selected this properly because of the hot tub.

If you are really wanting to use a hot tub, don’t rent this house. Water was luke warm. Called property owner, was going to get someone to work on it. Same problem that night. Needs new pump or something. Over all the house wasn’t that clean. Also no dish cloth or dish soap. No hand soap in master bath

Our family truly enjoyed our time in Florida, and having such a wonderful house made the experience even better. The five bedrooms and four full baths were perfect for our family of ten. On days when we weren’t visiting the amusement parks, we appreciated being able to use the on-site tennis and basketball courts, as well as the game room in the house.

Wonderful location close to Disney. Immaculate home very clean and welcoming after long days at the parks. Great setting in the lake with southern exposure and backyard screened in pool. Great game room separate from the living room so the kids can watch their own TV and hang out.

Maddie was great, property management not so much

Arrival was great, Maddie was great, but the property management could have been way more attentive. From the very first moment we used the pool/hot tub, there were issues. I understand that they only work until 5pm, but the fact that we had to let them know 3 times on 3 different days that there were issues with the pool is very disappointing. First the hot tub wouldn't heat up, then the pool was 105 degrees, then the third time it was still way too hot around 100 degrees. Finally I told them to just turn off the pool heat because its in the middle of July and the pool doesn't need heat. The 4th time we used the pool it was finally good because we filled it with cold hose water. There were some other minor issues like several of the towels were not clean even though they were folded like they were. Three closet doors need some TLC, the kitchen cabinets need some TLC, and the master bathroom needs brighter lighting. Also the water pressure in the shower and heads are very low, could use some improvement there as well. One last suggestion, it would be nice to have check out at 11am. So mainly other than the major pool temp issues, the property itself, as well as the prime location near Walmart (like 3 minutes away), was really nice and we enjoyed it otherwise. I think it would have been a bigger issue if we didn't have other things planned during our stay.

The house was very nice. Lots of room for everyone. We enjoyed the outside a lot. It was very hot out so the air in the house was at 72. The bedrooms didn’t have a lot of cold air or air flow but overall it was nice.

We really enjoyed this very nice home. It had all the amenities as described. The house was setup very nicely with everything you can imagine you would need, ie. coffee pots, high chair, playpen, plenty of towels, etc. We are very happy with everything.

Beautiful home, fabulous host

Our party of eight included eight year-old granddaughters, their parents in their late 30s early 40s, and grandparents in their late 60s. We found this home to be extremely clean, convenient to all the Disney action, and the pool was an absolute must for our granddaughters. The home decor was lovely, and the home itself well appointed. I would love to stay here again someday.

The view from the pool was very nice.It was close to grocery stores and other things. It was perfect place to stay with my family. I left my hair dryer and they will mail it back to my home. Maddie was quick to respond to my messages and is thoughtful.

Disney family vacation in February 2025

The house is as described and met all the needs of our family of 7 easily.Pros: large, clean, and beautifully decorated home. The bathrooms were updated and very nicely appointed with the master having a very large soaking tub.Seating in the living room and game room was ample and comfortable with very nice furniture. Every room except the kitchen had a functioning television which made lounging separately a nice. Every room had a ceiling fan.A new washer dryer set up was available and really useful for laundering for the group between the parks and pool.Note: The entire pool was heated to 90 degrees which was only a few degrees cooler than the hot tub. We had no problem with it, but others may not like it depending on the temperature outside. Cons: Traffic near the home is is kept locked at 74 which is acceptable, but humidity can be a problem in the home when the AC is not running during the night and morning hours, but almost all rooms had fans and they were useful for keeping it comfortable. Hotels don’t do that.There is also an odor outside the front entrance that is unpleasant when walking through.The hot tub itself did not have functioning jets. A knob is available to turn the jets on, but they would only burble as if there may be something wrong so we simply stopped turning it after the first few attempts. We spent every evening/night in the hot tub regardless, but that was disappointing. In terms of sundries, you must provide almost everything yourself.

A Perfect Getaway: My family has stayed at this house for the past 4 years and I can't say enough great things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was thoughtfully designed to create an ideal home-away-from-home atmosphere. The host Maddie is so accommodating and gracious. Location:The home's location was unbeatable—nestled in a quiet, safe gated neighborhood just a short drive from Disney World,. Additionally, grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers were conveniently nearby, making it easy to stock up on essentials or enjoy a night out.Amenities:The house itself was stunning and immaculately clean. The spacious layout comfortably accommodated our group of 9 with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cookware we needed to prepare meals. One highlight was the private pool and spa—perfect for relaxing after a long day at the parks.Entertainment Options: Inside the home, there was no shortage of entertainment. From a cozy living room with a large flat-screen TV to a game room equipped with a pool table. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which was great for streaming movies or staying connected. Fabulous holiday in Florida

Southview is a lovely house, in picturesque surroundings looking out onto the lake. ideally located in Kissimmee, great for restaurants and a short drive to the parks. The property has everything you could possibly need for a family vacation, highly recommended. I hope to stay here again in the future. The owner of this property was a first class host and went beyond expectations to ensure my family had a fabulous experience staying there.

Perfect base, wonderful villa and a fantastic stay.

We had a great time - brilliant location: convenient for parks, shops and restaurants, very safe and secure. Only used the 3 double rooms as a party of 6 adults: lots of space and the beds were SUPER comfy…. All the mod-cons and facilities you could ever want in a villa, Maddie has thought of / provided everything - pool was lovely on our chill days, we even tried a bit of fishing in the beautiful lake but no luck 😝 Would definitely recommend Southview, our stay was perfect in every way and communication was excellent right from the very first message to the time we left. Thank you so so much Maddie, we had the best family holiday and your beautiful home was a big part of that - looking forward to rebooking for our next trip.
