The location was nice as there is a station and a shopping district near by. It has a night life so it wasn't quiet as there was sirens every night. The hotel has poor soundproofing. You can hear everything clearly in the hallway through the door. The room was clean but the attention to detail was bad. The remote was dusty, the walls by the trash was dirty and the box sping had large stains. The thing i disliked the most was that they are on a key and lock system with only one key per room. The one key is used to turn the lights one. If someone is in need of the key, you will be in the dark. There is only 2 washer and dryer on site with 13 floors in the hotel. The dryer runs very poorly, jeans had to be hang dried.
The facilities are dated. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in this Japan trip this hotel did not have a/c. They only turn on a/c mid April. This entailed for us to open the windows so it was very loud at night.
There was only one key for the room which was quite inconvenient. Wifi was very weak and inconsistent.
Not ideal for seniors because bathroom is not at floor level so you have to step up to get in which isn’t ideal.
The redeeming factor is the location. Trains, taxi and convenience story within steps.

Long Term Stay at Nest Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi
Hotel was nice, staff was friendly, and hotel was close to Dontonbori and shopping at Shinsaibashi, with a subway line downstairs by the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for long time stay; if you are staying in Osaka briefly for a few days, this hotel is right for you since it offers a variety of rooms, and is close to the subway and attractions. But for long term stay, the room can get claustrophobic with all the luggages taking up space, the bathroom is small since it's Japanese standard, with a small bathtub. If you aren't too concerned about the space or quality of the hotel or long term stay, then this could be good. They offer daily room cleaning or you can opt out and they will provide you with new towels + 2 water bottles.
this is my second time of staying here but it does'nt means
they are good, the room and others still the same ,even
the staffs were little grumpy as one year ago,. specially one senior. comparing most service industry in Japan .i just like there is a train station in front of the hotel.
Everything thing about this property and staff were above exceptional. The best location in the city! The best staff ever! Thank you for our 10 days in Osaka.
