Book Independent Palm Beach accommodation from NZ$250

We had a stay scheduled here and due to airplane problems, missed our scheduled flight. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting our pickup at the Sydney end rescheduled. The hotel was beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay, even though we were only able to enjoy one night with them.

Unbelievable views of Sydney harbor. Very comfortable room. The place to stay in Sydney by far.

Lovely welcoming attentive staff, great breakfast and spacious room. Nice pool too. I gave four stars instead of five because our room had aircon issues so we were cold the whole time. The tech came but it was a bit of a ‘wait and see’ situation and by the time we got in after our night out, we were too tired to request changing rooms.

Staff extremely obliging and attentive. Accommodation excellent. The 2 room apartment/home was a touch of luxury steeped in history! Sharon the manager went out of her way to make sure that birthday celebrations were effectively carried through! An enjoyable experience for our 3 night stay

Some room furniture was aged. The place is very nice overall. It is a bit upscale attitude for my taste. Water should be provided not charged.

The York is very central to local attractions and Wynyard Station. We used the train system to and from the airport. Renovation work did not effect our room 1901. Catered for our own breakfast in the room.
