Lovely stay at View hotel

Fabulous view of Sydney Harbour from our bedroom window and a lovely 30 minute walk over the Bridge to Circular Quay . Room was clean and an adequate size for 3 adults but only 2 chairs , 2 mugs etc provided and the bathroom was small but spotless . Disappointed that they charge $4 for bottled water in the room after spending a fortune to stay there ! Nothing complimentary in this hotel !

Great location Easy access to trains and buses. Shops and other services nearby. Quick walk to Victoria Cross metro station. Could do with some upgrade to some carpets in the passageway from reception to the conference rooms

I had very bad encounters with the front desk night shift manager. The hotel has a policy that when guests want to use the gym, they need to come to the front desk to get the gym key. I was given a nonactivated key the first time. So I went back to get an activated one. The night shift manager was the one who gave me the new key which worked only for one time or one day. I questioned why there was such a policy since there was a webcam in the gym for the hotel to monitor the number of people using it. The night shift manager said to me it was there and I quoted "to prevent your guys to k each others". I was taken aback but said nothing. The next day I went to the front desk again to get a new key. The other front desk lady told me she could activate the key for 4 days usage & she did. After 4 days I went back to front desk to get a new gym key for the rest of my stay which was 3 more days. The same night shift manager came out to help since the trainee could not activate it. I jokingly said he could do better since I got a pass for 4 days before and he got mad. He said it was insulting. I immediately said I am sorry and said it was a joke. He then basically threw the key to my hand & walked away. The key dropped on the lower side of the counter which I could not reach. The trainee looked stunned. He picked up the gym key & handed to me. He did all these in front of the trainee. He was hostile to me more than once & blamed me.

아이랑 둘이 하버뷰룸으로 숙박했습니다. 주통로가 계단이라 캐리어를 끌고 차량 진입로로 가야해서 불편했습니다. 아이와 함께 차도를 가면 위험할 것 같아, 아이를 혼자 로비에 두고 저 혼자 캐리어를 끌고 올라갔습니다. 뷰는 굉장히 마음에 들었고 다소 낡았지만 방도 마음에 들었습니다. 객실을 청소하는 직원도 친절하셨습니다. 기대하지 않았던 얼리체크인도 가능했습니다. 역과 멀지 않았고, 버스정류장도 가까웠습니다.

The breakfast was well worth the extra money. The reception staff was very helpful. We chose not to have our room cleaned but asked for clean towels. They did not bring them until our third request. The electricity in our friends' room didn't work. It was not turned on until late in the day, after it had been requested early in the morning. Evidently it only took a flip of a switch in the control room. We wish we had not been awakened in the middle of the night by a fire alarm, reportedly caused by a faulty fuse in the alarm system.
