The hotel is very classy, room was impeccably well designed and maintained. The housekeeping staff were polite and gracious. There was cold weather that night (33 degrees)and the room had no heat. Air conditioner could only be turned on or off, but no heat. I stopped at the rooftop restaurant on Monday 1/26/26 and after ordering a meal, I sat there for 49 minutes waiting. Finally the attendant that took my order comes to me and says she had to call the manager about my order. I thought that was odd, when several people long after me and were served their food while I was still waiting. Finally I get my burger and fries and the burger was burnt crisp and the fries cold. Was it racial? Maybe or just my bad luck that none of the white customers was experiencing.

Dust flew out of the AC/heating vent when we turned up the heat. After telling the front desk, they immediately called maintenance to clean it and when we returned it was clean. Our issue is the difficulty of controlling water temperature in the shower and the floor in the bathroom was ice cold. But we will return again.

The room was nice and clean but the comforter on the bed was so thin as to be more like a sheet. The lobby has no nice place to hang out. Chairs weren’t comfortable and it just wasn’t a place I’d hang out. The restaurant was not good. We had a dinner there and breakfast. The service was weird and slow and the food was bad.

We got locked out of our room because there locks weren’t working and they weren’t sure if the master key would work on not because they were off line. When we returned the morning staff never informed the evening staff and the issue was never fixed, however we were able to get into the room with a new key but they again weren’t sure if it was going to work. The next day upon checking out and asking how everything was I mentioned the lock out and the response was “oh yea, have a great day”. We were never informed of wifi password or breakfast options either just that the front desk staff was very tired from lots of drunk people the previous days on the roof top bar. They were nice however not very helpful at all or informative. Also our room was never cleaned no towels replaced either I’m assuming again due to the lock issue.

The location was great for walking downtown to restaurants and the water. We had a bay view on the rth floor and it was lovely. The staff was great, we had to change rooms at check in and it was seamless. Rooftop bar was very nice.
