Compare Hotels with Parking in Pleasanton

We got the Teddy Roosevelt Suite a few days ago. Hotel is in a great location. Very beautiful hotel. My only real issue is that when we checked into our room and went into it there was a room service tray from previous guest sitting outside our door with leftover food and drinks on it. When we went to checkout, it was still sitting outside our door. We didn't have a robe in the bathroom but there was a tag stating that if you like it you can buy one. I called front desk immediately to ensure I wouldn't be charged for such. Would of liked to see if it was worth buying but oh well. The room was a little musty but once you turn on the big portable ac units they have (which is a bit of an eye sore) it was better and with being an old historical hotel it's understandable. Went to the famous bar they have and it was wonderful and staff was great. I accidentally left or dropped my credit card and realized when we got to the Tower of America. Called the bar and they said they had it and they did hold it for me until we made it back.

The hotel, staff, drinks and food are excellent.. the only thing they don’t have a little store inside that sells amenities and it’s self parking outside and the charge 30 bucks a night

I had to call the front desk to get the room cleaned after 2 days I not having room service.

Fun times

My biggest gripes about this property was the restroom and the towels. First off, the towels were either stained, or they were dirty. I’d prefer the former but in a case it’s off putting when your towels appear dirty. The soaps in the restroom were empty and I when I asked the front desk if they could refill them they were polite in saying they would take care of it, but they didn’t get taken care of. Lastly, this was the most upsetting the shower was in terrible condition. Mold surrounded the drain and again nothing was done to take care of it. As for the breakfast, it was great with so many options to choose from. The highlight was the breakfast with cleanliness being my biggest disappointment.
