The beach is very disappointing and nothing like what is shown online. The hotel also shares areas with the family resort, which completely ruins the adult-focused experience. The overall environment feels chaotic and poorly managed. I witnessed staff yelling at each other twice in front of guests. In one incident, an employee even tried to touch me when I mentioned that what she was doing was inappropriate. In the second, another employee dismissed it by saying it was “a nationality thing,” which was highly unprofessional and made us feel unsafe. The “yoga” class was just basic stretching led by an uncertified entertainer who made inappropriate jokes about her underwear. The same thing happened with the “aerobics” class at the adults-only resort — terrible and unprofessional. Service in both resorts is slow; restaurants take an unusually long time to serve food. One night, our air conditioner stopped working, and even after calling three times, no one ever came to fix it. Front desk staff rarely know how to help and constantly tell you to wait for the next shift. I also don’t recommend travelling to this destination. From the moment you get off the plane, people try to sell you things inside the airport—not even after passing the main gate, which feels inappropriate and overwhelming. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel or the experience.

Everything is spotless. Great amenities. Great staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had to change hotels last minute due to issues with our hotel. They were able to accommodate us for early check in and since we had a later flight they watched our luggage while we waited for our transportation after check out.

Overall great hotel. The women that cleaned the room did a great job every time. Food was great. I will say as soon as you check in book your dinners especially for the steakville some restaurants book faster. Great activities throughout the day. I do wish the adult side was a little bigger because the family side had everything but you get to go to both sides. If they ask you about a welcome gift, they will get you to sign up as a member if that’s not something your interested in say no straight up so you don’t wait your time

The resort was very good top to bottom except outside our room they stored bins of housekeeping supplies and there was constant water on the floor and bags of trash. Concierge messed up a couple reservations for dinner and ride from our room to the checkout. The coconut mamajuana was our favorite!!!! There were a lot of stray cats that were begging for food. Tip for future travelers, DO NOT FEED THE CATS!!

Staff was amazing! It was a great resort for the money. Staff was helpful and attentive, food was OK, Drinks were bartender based. Property was amazing. Massage 10/10!!!! Downfall was in our room there was no wifi unless on the balcony, no hot water in the tub but shower was hot. Over all I would return to this resort!

The swim up bar was very good and the bartender ls are efficient. The room was clean and tidy. Very efficient. The balcony view is magnificent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay! My husband and i had an amazing experience at Catalonia Bavaro The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Punta Cana

The place was decent. The room was very clean could use some upkeep. Biggest complaint some of the food places. Breakfast was always good no issues there. Dinners were average at best. Couple of places I wouldn’t go to again. Sorrento’s was disgusting. Cold food, hot desserts. Stay away. The staff were just amazing. Are room was always clean but we were not pigs. With being fall the beach was not to our liking. The complimentary bar in the room was not a bar. It had 2 beers a couple of sodas and water. Just pick and choose where you eat. Good luck making reservations for dinner.
