It was slightly dated casino hotel and the restaurant was extremely expensive decided to eat elsewhere. Food options were plenty close to the hotel so wasn’t a problem.

Rooms are nice though in an older darker style tgat I like. Covered parking. Navigating to the check in counter is always an issue at any casino. Great clam chowder in Rosies Restaurant open 24 hrs. Second time I've stayed there. Will definitely stay again.

The first night we checked on their was blood stained sheets. And someone else's hair all over the uncleaned shower. This was at almost 11pm when we got to our room with our young children. Management wanted to send you house keeping at almost midnight to clean the room and remake the beds. I told them that wouldn't be an option with my young children already asleep. So we had to strip the beds and sleep on the mattress pad covers, luckily we had a few of our own blankets to use. I went down the very next morning to speak with the front desk to which I was assured over and over it would be all cleaned and made and made better. Yet they would only comp my resort fee for the. Night, Even though I am a very regular customer. So we went about our day and stuff we wanted to do while visiting family in the area. We come back to the hotel about 1030pm after a very long day with our children, and low and behold they had remade our beds with the very same dirty linens that we stripped from our beds the night before. And didn't even bother with cleaning out the shower whatsoever. So again same problem solving skills from management..yet again they wanted to send housekeeping up at nearly midnight to clean the room. To which I had to say again is not an option with my children already asleep in the room. So I had no other option but to keep the room for the night and sleep with noo linens whatsoever again. So I went to speak with front desk, I was treated very very poorly by am Manage

Stayed here on way to Las Vegas to see family. Our room was right across from the train yards and all night long we heard banging noises and trains. I know it's not the fault of the property but still not ideal for our sleeping.

I got a Jr. suite at The Nugget to play poker at The Peppermill as it was more affordable. I played video poker at The Nugget. The room was clean, smelled good, everything worked (but the TV remote was bad). I’d stay there again, probably, depending upon how prices are for that same room down the road. John’s Oyster Bar cuisine was excellent. The coffee shop Prime Rib left a lot to be desired for a $38 menu price. Friendly and helpful staff made my trip comfortable on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Didn’t have to wait even one person checking in or out. Bar staff was right to you when you first walked up and didn’t make you wait for a second drink.
