The only reason this hotel is getting 3 stars is because of the friendly staff, otherwise it would be 2 stars. I knew upon arrival we were walking in to a dirty situation when the trash outside was overflowing and the parking lot was virtually empty. The lobby floors were dirty as well, but it has been raining earlier so I tried not to be quick to judge. However the elevator floors were dirty with trash, not wet shoes. The room situation was similar. Although I loved the fact that the room had 2 king sized bed, the room was musty smelling. The bathroom floor has visible dirt on the floor. The carpet was not better. It has not been vacuumed as there was chunks dirt on the floor as well. The carpet and the bed rails were stained. The towels were old and stiff, no flour left to those things. We actually decided to wear our shoes around the room which we never do, but there was nothing to hurt. The room stayed damp the entire night. When leaving in the morning, elevator & lobby floors were still dirty and trash still overflowing outside. Pretty disappointing all around. Especially for the price, this should be max of $89 per night given the condition.

Worth the stop

Clean, convenient, comfortable and I’m always a sucker for a shower with great water pressure. This was just an overnight pit stop during a longer road trip, but it’s a place you’ll feel safe with your family
