Good value

Decided to try this Motel 6 because a competitor's pricing was 2/3 more in cost. We had an event at the Huron Boat Basin to attend, and it was a few minutes away. Beds were comfortable, and it was clean. They did not have a free breakfast, but this is an economical hotel. Free coffee was available in our room, but we didn't partake.There is an Arby's very close and a Wendy's across the highway. It looked like many people were enjoying the indoor pool. The only two downsides might be location, as a busy train track does run close to this hotel. I was not bothered by the train noise, but it could be a problem for some. The other problem might be parking. We towed a boat and would have had to park across the highway behind Wendy's and wouldn't have been comfortable doing so. Otherwise, a good stay!

They told us we didnt have a reservation. Showed them emails. They lied to us about trying to call us and email us. Then because we had tk have a room to stay one night, they charged us 40$ more per room for the room ls we already had reserved. 4 times we had to have them program the key card to get in the room. Along with 8 other rooms. Then try to blame us for the card being to close to our phones.We will not be staying here anymore.

Not the motels fault but the trains after 10pm are obnoxious. Really nice rooms! Had a kitchenette! Location is decent. Close to Huron for a cool restaurant and really neat coffee house. Cedar Pointe not far.

The staff were quite courteous, responsive and friendly. We were offered fresh towels and to remove our garbage on a daily basis. Decor of room and Lobby was very sparse and plain. That being said it suited our needs for a place to sleep while visiting our family.

My Neice and I came here for a couple of days. We got the deluxe room and absolute loved it. This room was the way to go! Staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us pizza broachers after asking for recommendations for a good pizza place. They checked with every day to see if we needed anything or clean towels or linen. The pool and hot tub were a great added plus and clean. Only negative thing I can say is I wished they had some type of Breakfast. Overall, we loved this place and plan on coming back in a couple of weeks!!

I think corporate needs an unannounced, unexpected visit. The entire place smelled of old pool water. I had to get a plug in for the room. It needs a good training on DEEP cleaning. The noise from the train all night was very aggravating. Bad spot for a hotel. Drinking and weed smoking were going on inside the pool area and out back. I felt I had to stay inside my room w my two girls all night. Which the pool and the NORMAL reputation of motel 6 is why I chose this location :/. The staff were all great tho … I will not be staying at this location ever again. My past motel 6 experiences have all been good tho.

Having read other reviews I did not expect much. We had taken our own bedding with us and luckily. The beds were covered in hair. And I mean covered. What looked to be dog hair and human. The bathroom also had what looked like dog hair on yhe vanity and floor. The toilet has feces from whomever had stayed in the room beforehand, so it had definitely not been cleaned. We had visited cedar point and we're exausted otherwise we would have probably just left and drove home. So we just put our own bedding on and rested 7 hours before packing up the car and leaving. The owners and operators should be ashamed of this place. We will never visit again.
