It was fine to stop and sleep during a long drive. The hotel needs refreshed. Rusty bathroom fixtures, peeling toilet seat, very worn carpet. No coffee maker in the room.

Have stayed at Wingate previously thus looked forward to this stay. Unfortunately it didn't add up to the past. Economics would explain most of it. Toilet paper and tissues were of the lowest quality. One of the provided bath products was empty. TV cable offerings were difficult to activate. Had to ask the desk then continue to hit the remote button until going through analog static to get to digital offerings. Large comfortable room had obviously had a sofa removed and a sitting chair replaced. Room was clean and satisfactory but bathroom showed rust and mold on exposed toilet water source hose and in bath.

Clean comfortable restaurants near by

This was a good place to stop on our way to south Florida. Easy on and off to I95. Plenty of restaurants near by. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

This property could definitely use some renovation. We had a terrible time with the card readers being able to read the cards to get into our room and back into the hotel. The pool was in need of a good cleaning. Our room and the elevator has a musty smell. Thankfully we were only staying one night as an overnight stop. Wouldn’t recommend staying here until some renovations are done.

Pooler is a great place with restaurants and tangler outlet within a mile and half. Walmart also in area. Sannanah is about 15 to 20 minutes away. Hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast also was good with every morning something different, bacon, gravy and biscuits, potatoes. Staff were very nice. Would recommend Wingate any time
