It was ok…the furniture is faded…there was a bar of soap but I was hoping there was a shower cap. Not to be ungrateful but continental breakfast was a waffle machine which is great except for I don’t eat carbs and was hoping they at least had som hard boiled eggs. The biggest problem I had was that I am handicapped and was in a lot of pain…the manager refused to help me get my few things I needed… not even go get the hotel cart for me…the morning attendant was much more helpful and when he saw me struggling helped me to my van. It’s only one exit away from downtown FORT PAYNE and was quieter than being in the midst of the busy part so I slept well.

JUST A LITTLE INSIGHT

There was no hot breakfast. Just hot coffee fruit, cereal and juice. The toilet seat needs to be changed out. IT SMELT SO GOOD COMING INTO THE FRONT LOBBY. THEN, AFTERWARDS ITS NOT. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS SO FRIENDLY AND GOT US WHAT WE NEEDED. HE WORKS NIGHT SHIFT. PLEASE KEEP HIM!

STAY AWAY! Health Dept should close this place!

My husband can stay most anywhere. He was disgusted with this hotel. Two dehumidifiers were in the hall-CLUE-something's wrong! When we opened our room, we were clobbered by a dank, musty stench. It appears that they've tried to upgrade with paint, but failed at important things like customer comfort and health. Paint remained where it wasn't cleaned up. We didn't ask but got a handicap room. There was no cover on the toilet, the tub seat blocked the shower curtain so water poured out, & the rail was so distant from the tub that there was no place for a dry towel or clothes. The cheap, no control shower has ONE aim. Over the tub was a discolored leak spot from above. My husband said something at the front desk & was told it was AL, so damp & there'd been a lot of rain. THE MANAGER STOOD BY WITHOUT SAYING A WORD. THIS was MORE than AL humidity & rain! Dehumidifiers in the hall testify to that! There had been a serious leak and they lied trying to hide a potential Health Department issue! The rusty tissue holder shows the damp was long-standing, not recent or regional! We wasted our money, probably have fungi in our lungs, and there was no apology or acknowledgement, no offer of a discount or, better yet, a FULL refund, but only lies by the manager and his poor staff.
