The room we stayed in was in an old and run-down section of the hotel. Only 2 very flat pillows provided and mattress was uncomfortable. No complementary water provided and when I called front desk to ask about water, I was directed to a water filter machine by the elevators that didn’t have cups. I expected that even a basic room from a facility that sits directly over a mineral water spring could afford their guests with 2 small bottles of water. The outside pools were not heated, perhaps broken. The outside tiki pool’s complimentary water jugs were empty and when I brought it to the attention of staff-it remained empty and I had to wait in line for a water refill each time. The Safety Harbor area is charming and I’ll plan on a return trip.
