Hotel was very close to beach which if that is your reason for choosing then you will be pleased. Check in was on the 5th floor which I read in the reviews before booking my trip so I was aware but very unintentionally confusing because our brains are programmed that lobby is on the first floor and the elevators should number it check-in instead of “L” you get kind of stuck looking for the number 5. Hotel was clean but not a fan of the air. View was great of the ocean. Breakfast was good but if you didn’t get there early enough and missed something you liked they don’t provide more. Hotel check out was easy and I felt very cared for by the receptionist. She welcomed me and my kids when we arrived with a smile and cookies for the kids and was very hospitable to us even during our departure. Food in the surrounding area was great and had an island feel.

The first thing was that we booked the hotel and found out there was an amenity fee of almost 100 which was not disclosed and then all weekend their room keys did not work and you had to go down to the front desk every time and have someone open the door for you which was extremely annoying. The one bright spot was Gina who did an amazing job handling the key issue with all the people in this hotel

The location of the Pier 60 Hotel is perfect, rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and allowed us to check-in early. The breakfast could have been much better. There were at least two days when there were no egg options (not even boiled eggs) and the main option was pork. For those who do not eat pork, sausage or sausage gravy leaves us with cold cereal or fruit options and bread. It would also be great if the pool was updated. It’s not esthetically pleasing because it’s older, small, no hot tub, and next to the Marina that is having construction being done. This was disappointing, as I was hoping the pool would be a nice relaxing hangout. The rooftop restaurant is nice and is a favorite hangout (especially for during sunset), for a lot of people.

Location was great and rooms were large but room keys were difficult to open doors. Took multiple times to open and had to get them to redo keys several times. There is no shade at the pool meaning no umbrellas so this is a deal breaker for us. We asked the lobby and they don’t have any. Until this changes we would not stay here again. Other than those two things everything was wonderful and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Loved the room with the balcony overlooking the bay, we got to watch a beautiful sunrise from our balcony! Jimmy’s Crows Nest on the roof is a great spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a drink!

Close to beach and helpful to have parking available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some work is being undertaken in the Marina which means lots of noise during the day by the small pool. However the gorgeous beaches and restaurants are only a stones throw away.
