staff great, booking easy, apartment pretty clean.. however, lost a point as I nearly dented my head on the bunk bed situated over the double bed in the middle of the night. They definitely need to put some padding or a glow in the dark sign on it for tired travellers. Got a bump and a little whiplash from that one... seriously caned

Good Value Stay Near Auckland Airport We stayed at the Ibis Budget Auckland Airport for an overnight stopover and it served our needs well overall. Location: The hotel is a bit farther from the airport than we initially expected - about 800 meters away. With a lot of luggage in tow, we opted for an Uber rather than attempting the walk or shuttle. This is something to keep in mind when planning your arrival. Service & Staff: Everyone we encountered at the hotel was polite and helpful, which made our stay pleasant despite the basic accommodations. Room: The room was admittedly very small, which is typical for a budget hotel. However, it was clean, functional, and reasonably priced. For a quick overnight stay before an early flight, it was perfectly adequate for getting some rest. The Highlight: The absolute best part of staying here was the restaurant next door. The food was amazing and the service was truly top-notch. Having such excellent dining right beside the hotel turned what could have been just a functional stay into something memorable. Just for the convenience and quality of that restaurant alone, choosing this hotel was a blessing. Overall: If you're looking for basic, affordable accommodation near Auckland Airport and don't mind compact rooms, this is a solid choice. The polite staff and especially the outstanding restaurant next door make it well worth considering.

Friendly staff; great price; easy walk from the airport. Unfortunately they were overbooked so we were in two single beds, but it was fine by us and they were happy to extend our checkout time. Breakfast next door was good also.

The staffs were very welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The only issue i found was, there was very little room to put my suitcase. I had to put it on the bed to open it because it was not possible to do so on the floor space. I am sorry if the duvet got dirty as a result. Apart from that, it was perfect in everything else and I will definitely stay there again.
