Nightmare Hotel

The room was not clean. The floor had not been vacuumed, there were fingerprints all over the mirrors on the headboards of the bed or greasy handprints. The bathroom had would look to be pubic hair all over it there was hair in the sink and a dirty wash rag there was also hair all over the bathroom floor there was only two towels there w wasn't any complimentary coffee, sugar cream etc that was supposed to be provided in the room the beds were dirty as well with hair on them as well as the sheets had sayings. It was just horrible and when I complained to the front desk they basically told me to bring the sheets down and they would give me new ones and then the maintenance man ended up bringing me a vacuum cleaner, spray cleaner along with wash rags and black gloves in case I wanted to clean the room myself. They were also not very accommodating and the gym was closed even though they said that it was supposed to be open 24 hours 7 days a week so I didn't have access to that.

We had two reservations. The first room was not vacummed there was candy wrappers on the floor, fingerprints on the furniture, also the toilet had urine. The next day, I asked to be switched to a different room. That room was clean.

It was an easy and fast checkin but the hotel was older and smelled. There was dead roaches everywhere. Fully equipped breakfast area but nothing was provided. Coffee was cold.

We had to change rooms due to a broken tv and we couldnt get the same type room that we reserved so i was a little disappointed. The staff was very nice and i realize that they gave me the only available room. All staff was nice and professional. Overall, it was ok for the price.

Check-in was 3:00 p.m. At that time our room was not ready. The clerk asked if we wanted to wait, I asked what room was ready and took a double queen instead of the deluxe king I had booked months ago. Bed was comfortable. In reviewing my charges I found that they charged me more than the guaranteed price I was given ($160 instead of $135) which I am not happy about. The pool area could use a good cleaning and overhaul. The pool area chairs were in poor shape and there were no towels in the pool area on the rack for use. The room we had was nice. I worked in the hotel industry for many years. It appears this hotel overbooked their capacity or the ability to ready rooms for check-in.
