The unit was right on the main road into Te Anau. The unit was spacious, well-appointed, and had a great view of the lake. We walked into town on two occasions, and enjoyed staying “home” at the end of a busy day. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

A very comfortable stay

The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake right in front. The room is a nice size with a living room and kitchen area separate from the bedroom. Fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch for our morning coffee. We were very comfortable here!

A first class operation with nice extras in the room like the electric fireplace and coffee machine. Beautiful view of the lake and we would have enjoyed the patio more the second day except it rained. Town center is walkable where a selection of restaurants and shops are located. The combined washer/dryer was a challenge as getting the door to unlock to retrieve clothes was a mystery.

The hotel apartment (upper floor of older block) was spacious, well-equipped and nicely furnished. The balcony facing the lake and sunset was a plus point - also the gardens at the front are pretty and are nicely illuminated at night. The location was fine for us with a walk of c 10-15 minutes into the centre and a nice walk lakeside in the opposite direction. Very happy with the choice of accommodation in Te Anau with the only negative aspect being the level of friendliness of the interaction at check-in (perhaps because we arrived one hour early).
