The staff were very friendly and informative. We stayed in the historic train carriage. It was a fantastic experience. Warm and cosy. Bed was comfortable, the shower was a fabulous experience (in the middle of the train) and the water was hot!! Breakfast was included and plentiful. A really lovely experience!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect for adventures in Te Anau and going on to Milford. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view, and the whole lodge has so much character. The host was friendly and welcoming, and really accommodating. And the breakfast was amazing!

The restored convent and the fine furnishings both inside and outside the property provided an exceptional holiday experience that enhanced our stay in Te Anau. The Host Kym greeted us warmly and was fully attentive and helpful throughout our stay

Kym was amazing, she helped us find the best cruise on Milford Sound, great hikes nearby and a restaurant recommendation. Breakfast was served in the dining room with delicious cold & hot options.
