LOCATION: MS Lodge looks very nice in its location at the top of a hill. It is easy to find. STAFF: The check-in was easy; the desk clerk was friendly, welcoming and accomodating. BREAKFAST: Breakfast was very adequate but some foods and coffee were allowed to run out and were not replenished as well as they should have been. Hot items included scrambled eggs and sausage. There was a large plentiful variety of pastries. Breakfast hours are 7-9 a.m., I was told. ROOM: Our room was very clean but lacked some amenities. No coffee maker & no microwave. There was a refrigerator. The shower was tricky. TEMPERATURE CONTROL: We experienced no problems regulating the temperature and keeping the room temperature comfortable. GENERAL: NOISY! It was VERY noisy throughout the night. We were on the ground floor & could hear people in the room above talking loudly and constantly making loud noises long into the night--until 3-4 a.m. or so. It sounded as if they were constantly dragging and moving furniture around. LOUD thumps & bangs! A loud motorcycle parked just outside our window gave us our early morning wake-up call. PRICE: I booked through Expedia & paid a little less than $130 total. Not a great price but OK for an area with limited hotel accomodations.

Good place to stay

Very grateful to find a place that has 3 queen beds so our family could be in one room. The room was spacious. The hotel was quiet, not in a busy area. We brought a small fan to drown out noises for our kids and they slept soundly. I'd stay there again but would bring a fan for the side of the room I slept on to drown out train and walking/banging noises probably from area below our room where there was wood flooring. Great options for breakfast. It was nice to have a freezer section in the room fridge.

People were great!! Older hotel that had a lot of cracked or broken tiles in bathroom and something splashed on bathroom wall. Hotel front desk were very friendly and answered questions about he area for us. Very nice.

Was a comfortable stay.

Comfortable enough. No frills. Rooms have updates, but not all details are fresh. Some decor looks suspiciously 1990's, but it's 2025. Facility has either a damp smell or some kind of vinyl smell throughout. Staff is friendly and thoughtful. Place has a high top view. Wifi connection in room 115 was only good closer to the window. Good LTE connection on an Android, but not an iPhone. Location is crazy close to the park with the spring. For off season I thought the room rate was high for January.

Was ok but would go elsewhere next time

Very friendly staff and location was excellent. The motel is a bit run down and needs a facelift. We did not have hot water for a shower. Towels a bit rough. Breakfast was lacking. It was a decent place to stay for convenience but we'd go elsewhere next time.
