I really liked the location of this place. It was very convenient for us. Pretty on the outside and the foyer. Rooms were nice. I gave it an average rating because the fridge didn't work(I got it working), the pool was down (I heard it's been down for at least 3 months). We were there for family and really were looking forward to the pool. The breakfast was not great... juice machine was just water, nothing my gluten free daughter could eat. No cooler with yogurt and such. You will be able to eat yummy waffles, but just be prepared to go into town for breakfast. This is a nice hotel in general, but due to these things, I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

I found dried blood on the sheets upon check-in. Hotel staff was less than helpful and I had to ask for a replacement set of sheets. They did not come and check nor collect the dirty sheets. Front desk person said she would report the incident to the manager and discuss compensation. At checkout I was told that they could not do anything because I booked through Expedia and they did not have my card on file (they had my card for incidentals). I called Expedia and they contacted Grandstay. Whoever they spoke to from Grandstay lied to the Expedia rep and said the sheets had fresh blood on them. Very disappointed in how the situation was handled, the lack of professionalism, and their refusal to make the situation right.

The room is definitely in need of repair. Lots of missing paint on the walls, damaged furniture overall room was very old and stale. Beds we very uncomfortable and check in staff was not personable at all.

Great hotel, except for the pool.

We really like this hotel, however, we stayed there 4 or 5 times in the past 12 months, and each time the pool was closed. I feel they should drop their prices if they nevere have the pool available.

Stayed for a family event. The front desk agent was friendly and answered my questions. She tried to charge me again for my stay, but I showed her I had already paid. It was a simple mistake. There’s a note by the front desk that says if you are going to pay by debit card, you will be charged double rate, and then in 3-10 business days you will get the difference. So be aware of that. The breakfast is amazing, and started the day off well.
