It was ok. Attention to detail could be better

It was ok. Breakfast was ok. Confused about not being able to take your breakfast to your room? I think they need more staff and their ability for attention to detail. The front desk attendant asked me if everything was ok, I said yes. But by the second night and time to check out I saw a few things like, not having tissues in the room and the tissue box as well as the coffee maker was filled with dust. Under the bed hadn’t had a cleaning in a very long time. There was really bad dust and dried banana skin under there. I think they were doing the best they could but a little more attention to detail goes a long way. When we needed something, the staff was happy to help.

The room and sheets and towel were filthy room had wet floors. I was scared to walk. I thought I was gonna fall and hurt myself. They need to upgrade. It will be a pretty nice area. One area is seem like it was a lot of drug dealers. I was afraid to walk out at night, but the staff was very nice and they did not clean my room.

Horrible experience

I booked my hotel through hotels.com. I booked a room where I could pay at the property. I get an email at 2 o’clock in the morning because I hadn’t made it there yet because I didn’t get off work till late and drove 4 1/half hours to the hotel Only to get an email telling me that my reservations have been canceled because they tried to run my card at 12 and run my card at 2 AM when I was supposed to pay when I got to the property so I don’t understand why you have the option to pay when you get to the property if the hotel is gonna go ahead and try to run your card. I keep my card locked so unfortunately I will never be using hotels.com again! Amanda was the night clerk. When I called she told me what her manager told her to do so I said I was to pay when I got there and she said I did what my manager told me to do & hung up on me & didn’t answer when I called back. I’m 4 hours away from home & my room was cacncled. Why have the option to pay on arrival? I keep my card locked. That’s why my card declined they shouldn’t have been trying to run my card if I am a pay on arrival quest. I am so angry about this and will never stay at a Baymont inn or use hotels.com. When I called Hotels.com customer service I was on the phone with Ivan for over 45 minutes and still didn’t get any help. By this time it’s 3M and I’m 4 hours away from home and no hotel to sleep in.

Handicap room .more dangerous than regular room. Door to room wouldn't even shut tight. No essential items such as toilet paper,etc Paying $25 pet deposit when our dog couldn't have caused any appreciable damage. So bad I intend to make my feelings about. baymont, expedia, and wyndham hotels every chance on and offline. A TOTAL DISGRACE!

The room was average for the cost. What made us unhappy is that the gentleman that checked us in knocked on the door at around 11 pm demanding that we pay a pet deposit we didn’t know about. We had no problem doing it, but his attitude and the time he bothered us was inappropriate. We paid it the next morning before checking out and the lady that took our payment as very pleasant. The dude was just rude.

The room was nasty and the sheets had stains. The air-condition had water pouring from it once it had been on for about 30 minutes and it won't stop. It was terrible besides the convince of the location.

We checked in and went to our room ready to sleep after a very long day of driving. We ripped open the covers and there was not 1 but 2 bugs under the covers!! Plus it smelled like marijuana and sketchy people were walking around and sitting in their cars right outside of our room.

I really don’t like the star rating system because it can hurt a business terribly. My experience is not your experience and I don’t want someone else to miss out on a good experience. The staff is wonderful and friendly and they helped us out as possible as they can. I gave it a 3 star but of the room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. You could tell that previous stay someone had a dog. There was mold/ mildew in the bathroom by the way I had an allergic reaction to it. Now the staff did do a deep clean while we were out but the stains of the mildew/mold was still on the walls in the bathroom.

It was okay not great, but okay. The fire alarm going off at 10 pm sucked and it didn’t seem like they were trained how to turn it off. It was on for over 20 minutes with no fire or smoke.

The staff was great, but the hotel rooms left much to be desired. The first room we received was leaking fairly heavily through the window. The staff was very accommodating with switching rooms. The door had a very large gap between it and the door jam.

We booked our trip over a month in advance. The staff called the morning of to confirm our reservation, we said we were on our way, so they charged my card. Then they called when we just made it into town to ask “can you find another hotel for the weekend?”. We had to then find a hotel for us and our 3 children, last minute, on fourth of july weekend. Terrible customer service.
