Great room but bad breakfast experience

We got in at 1:30am and were just grabbing a few hours of sleep and getting back on the road. The hotel and room were nice and clean. I would leave it 5 stars except some of the staff were not at all friendly and to top it off we were told breakfast was til 10:30. At 10:10 we asked someone at the front desk to replace the waffle batter (it was watery and made a gooey mess) and the gentleman called someone right away. At 10:20 nobody had come so I asked again and was told the kitchen attendant said the kitchen is closed. The one and only thing my daughter wanted for breakfast was a waffle so she ended up with no breakfast. Very disappointing since breakfast was indeed til 10:30. Customer service needs to be improved cause the hotel itself is very nice and very clean.

There is a roach infestation at the property. The manager was very unconcerned and accustomed to the poor conditions. She offered no customer service or resolution. The manager has an awful attitude and this hotel is suffering due to the lack of care. The onsite attendant who worked from 2 -10 (I believe his name was Charles) was very helpful and showed empathy. He was the only good part of the stay. Housekeeping must improve at this hotel. The previous guest left rollers, hair, and crumbs in the bathroom that did not get cleaned prior to us checking in. We had to clean and sanitize our own room. I was extremely dissatisfied with this hotel and would never stay there again.

First time staying at a Country Inn and Suites. Will definitely go to another hoping it will be as good as this one. The beds were so comfortable and loved that the sheets were soft and not rough and scratchy like other hotels sometimes are. Very convenient and walkable to several places to eat. Breakfast was good too. Very clean and staff friendly.
