Disappointed with our stay

We were a little disappointed with our recent 1 night stay at Drury Inn, Valdosta. We always stay at Drury Inns on our annual road trip to Florida and have been happy with the experiences for a number of years. This visit was disappointing though. We booked a King suite 9 months ago but when we arrived we were told it wasn’t available were offered a Queen suite instead. We said no problem but what we didn’t know until we reached the room was that the Queen suite had no kitchenette, hence no fridge or microwave oven, both of which we needed. In addition the bathroom was not clean, there was long hair on the shower walls. I will say that this experience was not the norm for our many stays at Drury Inns but important to note that there is room for improvement here.

This was a wonderful stopon our way south, easy to get to, quick check-in, very friendly helpful staff, a surprisingly good dinner buffet with complimentary drinks and breakfast. Quiet and comfortable room. I recommend this Drury Inn.

Arrived just in time for free buffet dinner in the lobby with an open bar. What a nice surprise after driving for 9 hours! Staff is super friendly and our room is nice with a very comfy bed.
