Staff carrying on long winded, small talk conversation with guest while others stood waiting to be helped. Within hour of check in about 6:30 pm we received a call from front desk that a neighbor had multiple noise complaints about our room. Meanwhile, us and our two small children were sitting quietly in bed watching tv at normal volume. It was incredibly bizarre and made us feel very uncomfortable considering we weren’t being loud at all. Based on small talk convo with guest witnessed at check in, seems staff was favoring this particular guest and had no consideration for our stay nor acknowledged that it was excessive to be calling a room within an hour of check in about noise complaints, especially knowing a 2 yo and 5 yo were present. You’re entitled to a child free life, not a child free world, and our family was nothing but respectful and well within normal noise limits and did not deserve to be treated this way.
