I disliked the stale musky odor. However, I have allergies and sensitive to odors. They were kind enough to provide a fan and move up stairs for better ventilation.

Door to lobby was locked had to talk to attendant through outside window. he answered the window in a t-shirt, shorts and socks. Room had a very heavy smoke odder, couch seemed to be old very old. I did not stay I let them know my concerns and I left. I stayed down the road a bit at Best Western much much nicer and only a few dollars more. I travel for work and like to try some of the smaller non chain types they normally are nice and the staff always are good and have great personalities. This place not so. Kind of felt like I should be paying by the hour.

Room was clean, bed comfortable and clean. But room was in need of an update. Couch dirty, room smelled of smoke, and walls, doors, furniture looked like paint and finish was coming off. Would not stay there again and I don’t know how it had a “very good” rating on Orbitz

Made a reservation and arrived about 9pm. Door to lobby was locked and sign said to ring the bell. Rang the bell twice and no answer. Called and no answer. Expedia called and no answer. 3 cars in whole parking lot.

I didn't have any problem with the hotel room itself. I had a run in with the front desk staff when we first arrived. First, we can't go inside the lobby, we have to stand at a window outside and we barely can hear them through the window. When I go on trips, I order my rooms so far ahead, so I forgot if I booked for accessible. I asked him can I get a room on the first floor because my mom can't walk up the stairs. He got an attitude and said that he would have to see what he have. I then asked if they hav elevators he said no. I became frustrated because his attitude was nasty. My cousin was standing there and told him well if he didn't have anything on the first floor we couldn't stay there. That is when he became really upset. He came back to the window and told me that he would charge me a $50 deposit and the room price. I gave him my card and told him to let me unlock it. He swiped my card and then I locked it back. I was still scrolling through my phone when he swiped it again and got upset because it declined. I hear him yell out is your card unlock because I received a $10 charge because it declined. I started yelling back and said I thought you swipe for both at one time, so when my phone said the payment came out I lock it back. I told him that customer service is everything and if he going to be at the front desk, he need to adjust his attitude. I never had any bad experience booking a room through Expedia. Then that is when he started calming down.

The front desk clerk was very polite & helpful. The room was neat & had pleasant decore. The only negative was that I woke up with a pain in my hip because of a lump in the mattress.

The hotel is pretty old and dated so it’s good for a short stay. They do their best to keep it clean. I disliked the early check in fee of $25 especially since it’s dated and not full. There were also a few sketchy people staying there.
