The room was boiling hot when we arrived even though the thermostat said 61 degrees. Turns out they only have heat in the winter and air in the summer. Had to turn off the thermostat and open the window the 2 inches it allowed to get some cooler air into the room. Had to do this every night and then close the window because it's too noisy to sleep with open windows.
