We rent this hotel because of the pool and the pool was close other than that it was okay

This hotel is walking distance from the 72nd street & Broadway subway and from Central Park. It also has several wonderful places to eat around it. My room was rare for NY in that it actually had a small kitchenette (pots, pans, silverware, toaster, small frig, toaster, stove with two burners), a desk with a chair, a large corner chair and a king bed. The only thing I did not like was that the floor was a non-smoking floor and someone on the floor was smoking marijuana.

All the staff were very friendly. There was plenty of places to sit and relax in the lobby/bar area.
