Our family stayed at Abercorn based on price and morning breakfast buffet. It was all very adequate. The building and room were rather dingy and dumpy- though clean the whole hotel looked very worn out. Staff was wonderful- helpful and kind. Breakfast buffet also was adequate for feeding families with children. Again the staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant next had very authentic Chinese and other Asian cuisine but was very dirty on the outside- inside was okay.

The room had a strong musty odor that never improved and there was mold in the bathroom. The air conditioner worked but drained a huge amount of water onto the floor. The staff was friendly and helpful at check in and check out.

Decent location but noisy road: simple double glazing would fix that. A/C also very noisy. The shower is old and difficult to set water temperature. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and the gym was better than expected.

Good for a night in transit

For a night before or after a flight or cruise it's fine. No complaints. Hotel is older and a bit run down, but again, for a night in transit it's perfectly fine. I checked in at 11pm and was out 6am - perfectly fine stay.

The room condition is clean and comfortable! But the white curtain needs cleaning especially it has stain on it! For international traveller, they may want to have a safety box for their travel documents. The repair service is not on time and could take 1-2 days to get support! Continental breakfast is okay especially we can get fruits or hot water to start the day! But we do miss the hot breakfast the hotel used to offer before!

Our room was dirty and dusty. Areas especially under furniture have not been cleaned in ages. The large towels are not cotton so not absorbest. The facilities are old which is forgiveable if kept clean. The matress is fair, but pillows are uncomfortable. Tv upgrade is needed.

Family stay - it was ok

When we arrived, we were too early for check in so it was handy they could keep our luggage secure for us while we toured for the day. Check in went well. We had a family suite (small kitchenette and separate bedroom). There was nothing to use with the kitchenette which we found odd, so it wasn't used by us. Room itself could use an update. Carpet is definitely worn. No tub but large walk in shower - at least that was ok for bathing kids. Bed was moderately comfortable. Windows let alot of sound in, so if your a light sleeper bring ear plugs. If you need your room cleaned, you need to ask in advance and you're not guaranteed it will happen - frustrating! Breakfast offered a good spread. Shuttle offered isn't well done. I asked several days in advance if I could book it for when we needed, I was told no - you book the day before. When we came to book the day before, the spots were suddenly all filled for that time. We could go either an hour earlier or find our own way. Arg!!

After a 14 hour flight we checked in at 11pm to be told that the property had no water so we were unable to shower or flush the toilet. If we wanted to use the bathroom then we had to go outside to use some out houses they had set up. This was not ideal and very unsanitary. We did not pay $300 to be without the most basic need. The staff was very unconcerned and didn’t understand why we were unhappy. They felt that the signs they posted around the hotel was sufficient notice for the guest on the conditions however I reserved my room 4 months prior on Expedia. I would not of booked if I knew I wouldn’t have a toilet or shower to use.

The front desk staff was OK. The maids and people put on the breakfast were super nice always smiling. How can I help you. The morning food was pretty limited to what they served. Unlike most the places that serve morning breakfast or brunch there was no hot items like eggs or bacon French toast.

This place is very outdated. My problem was dog hairs on the carpet, which my son is allergic to. I asked them to clean it but when we come back they were still there, they were very easy to be picked so I just don't think they vacuumed them. Staff was friendly for the most part and they let us store our luggage which was nice. Break fast was extremely poor: frozen breakfast sandwiches, apples, banana, yogurt, cheap muffins and a few cereal choices. Nothing warm and tasty. The only thing a really liked their bad, it was very convenient. There was no sheet for sleeper sofa, so when we arrived late we just had to all sleep together. Shower is another story, super outdated, it felt like a cheap hotel.

Very disappointed with this Hotel, room overall. Room 114 had very bad smell, we some ants in the bathroom and mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and walls. Smell of urine, moisture and we couldn't sleep well at all.

Generally feels dirty and in disrepair. The breakfast was terrible...virtually no protein, worse than airline food breakfast sandwiches that needed to be heated in a single microwave shared by all the guests. The TV in one of the rooms was broken. Part of the door handle in a bathroom was falling off. Not what I would expect at this price point

Good location for airport.

Liked that it was near the airport and has a free shuttle. It's right across from Costco, which is a plus if you're a Costco customer. The rooms are large. The breakfast was average.
